*The difference between elliptical and conical styli is the shape of the styli. For example, both Ortofon Stylus DJs can be used as replacement styli for Concorde (or OM) DJs. Generally, conical styli emphasize stability and reduce skipping, while elliptical styli emphasize sound quality. While there is no significant difference between the two, we recommend conical styli for scratching and elliptical styli for house music and other sound quality-oriented music.

オルトフォンの中では、最も安値で同社特有の広いレンジ・バランスを表現できるカートリッジです。
出力・再生音域・Ｓ/Ｎともに良いです。
コンコルド型のアンチフォース設計が活かされた再生能力をフラットな音質で表現できます。
ジャンルレスに、原音をできるだけ忠実にピックアップしたい時に良いです。
癖がない分、打ち込み音ではパワー感に物足りなさも感じとれますが、逆にイコライジングなどで音創りという点では、良いと思います。
オルトフォンの再生能力を引き出せるのは、この針が基準値と感じとれるモデルです。
海外のプロのＤＪの方でも多数使用されております。
