DeBoom is a one-knob plugin specializing in low-frequency correction, featuring Eventide's patented ""Structural Split"" technology.

It automatically separates the input sound into attack components (transients) and sustained sound components (tonals), applying optimal EQ processing only to the tonal portion, which is the source of unwanted resonance. This fundamentally solves the problem that often occurs with conventional EQs: ""When you remove the muddiness in the bass, you also lose the punch (impact) of the sound.""

Operation is incredibly simple; just turn the dial. It surgically removes unwanted boominess that disrupts the mix, while maintaining the core, powerful attack of kick drums and bass, tightening the low end.

A new approach to solving common bass problems
DeBoom is a purpose-driven tool for meticulously addressing common bass EQ problems. Sound sources such as kick drums and bass can be a source of bass muddiness. Traditional EQs solve problems, but they also cause collateral damage. The boomy decay and the punchy attack of drums disappear, and the bass's resonance and attack are lost. DeBoom solves this problem by using Eventide's patented Structural Split technology to EQ the tonal (tone) and transient (attack) components of a sound separately. Experienced users have been doing exactly this with full-featured SplitEQ plugins. We've packed the power of SplitEQ into DeBoom, condensing it into a single, powerful one-knob operation.

Structural Split
The heart of DeBoom. No matter what instrument you're processing, DeBoom analyzes the input audio and separates its components into transients (noise, pops, mic plosives, vocal sibilance, attack) and tonals (sustain, harmonics, tone, ambience).

DeBoom uses this information to apply a specially crafted EQ curve to the tonal layer of the input audio, instantly removing boominess and reshaping the sound.

Just one knob
A user-friendly interface focused solely on the crucial task of reducing boominess without sacrificing attack. Simply turn the dial to remove muddiness and maintain a focused sound. DeBoom's user interface also includes Undo/Redo, input gain, and a built-in bypass function.
