Saturate employs the highly acclaimed spectral clipper algorithm from the Elevate Mastering Limiter. While Saturate's two controls appear simple, they house a sophisticated signal processing engine, allowing for overdrive without disrupting tonal balance, even with strong input. It adds up to 24 dB of overdrive without producing muffled or dull sounds. Furthermore, the SHAPE control allows for seamless transitions from hard clipping to the mathematically smoothest curve. Saturate can be used for overdrive processing on individual tracks or the entire mix.
