■Standalone Mode for Computer-Free Use

MIDI Eight offers three independent standalone modes for use without a computer.

In Pass Mode, MIDI inputs are routed directly to the corresponding outputs, allowing for quick and intuitive connections. Connecting a controller or sequencer to MIDI Input 1 sends the data to MIDI Output 1.

In Through Mode, MIDI input signals are sent simultaneously to all output ports. Ideal for users with a single controller or sequencer and multiple synthesizers or drum machines.

Merge mode is the opposite of thru mode; all input ports are merged and sent to MIDI output 1. This is an ideal choice when you own multiple controllers or sequencers and want to send data to a single multi-channel sound module or DAW.

Also, it can be powered by the included DC adapter when not using a computer.

■Convenient Features for a Comfortable Workflow
The MIDI Eighr features 8 MIDI in and 8 MIDI out ports on the front panel, with 8 MIDI out ports also located on the back panel for mirroring.
This is convenient for connecting devices that are not always connected.
It also includes a panic button that sends an ""All Notes Off"" message to all output ports in case of sudden data transmission problems.
A USB-A hub is included (requires power supply via the included AC adapter).
It is equipped with convenient features to make your studio workflow more comfortable.
