• Founded in 1864, Perlinger, a German tannery, has been producing the highest quality leather for over five generations. The "Collectors Atelier" uses high-grade male calf leather from the Togo region of Africa, finished with Perlinger's unique shrunk leather processing technology. No heat treatment is used to preserve the natural softness of the calf leather. Instead, a special chemical treatment is used to intentionally shrink the leather. This beautifully preserves the natural grain and texture of the leather, resulting in an extremely soft yet highly elastic surface.
