SuperNATURAL Acoustic Piano 3
The newly developed SuperNATURAL Acoustic Piano 3 adds premium concert piano options to the RD-08, complementing the existing SuperNATURAL acoustic grand pianos and electric pianos. SuperNATURAL Acoustic Piano 3 features 15 distinctive piano tones and 20 scenes, ranging from bright, dynamic sounds suitable for live band performances to tones ideal for solo work and creating ambient atmospheres.

Performing with Software Synths
The RD-08 Upgrade enables seamless integration with Apple MainStage, providing functionality similar to that of the RD-2000 and RD-88. You can freely combine RD sounds with virtual instruments, create zones, and remotely control MainStage parameters.

Adding Sample-Based Sounds
With support for Wave Expansion, you can add sample-based collections from Roland Cloud to the RD-08’s sound set. Load Wave Expansion titles into two virtual slots* to build new sounds from Roland’s extensive library, ranging from acoustic and electric pianos to synthesizers and orchestral instruments.

*When you install the RD-08 Upgrade, SuperNATURAL Acoustic Piano 3 is automatically loaded into the first virtual expansion slot.
