""Softstruck"" is an all-new cinematic guitar sound library inspired by the delicate warmth of a felt piano. This third installment in Sonora Cinematic's ""Select"" series brings to life a unique instrument never before seen.
The key to its development was the reversal of the concept of muting the picking, rather than the guitar itself. Playing with a special felt pick, such as that used for ukuleles, delivers a guitar tone with soft, blurred edges, a brushed, nostalgic, and intimate texture.

""Softstruck"" features three distinctive guitars. Each guitar was recorded with two amplifiers and two pedal boards, for a total of four signals, allowing for a wide variety of sound creation.
・Butterscotch: A bright clean tone is transformed into a deep, dark tone by the felt pick.
・Flatwounds: A dark sound characterized by the combination of P90-style pickups and flatwound strings.
・Singlecut: A classic model with rich bass from the neck pickup.

Key Features
・Double Track Switch
Softstruck pursues the simplicity motto of the Select series, but also features a secret function: the ""Double Track Switch."" The ""Double Track Switch"" applies different round robins to the left and right channels, creating a beautiful, organic stereo image with just one click. This brings out the imperfect beauty unique to vintage gear, where each note has subtle variations.

・Reverb / Atmosphere
Softstruck features Sonora Cinematic's atmospheric effects (FX) specially tuned for this guitar.
- White Cloud: A high-quality, richly-sounding studio reverb.
- Blue Signal: A dreamy, ever-expanding cinematic ambience with an extremely long reverberant tail.
- Pink Signal: A slowly modulated reverb with granular processing.
