""EMMA LEGATO"" is a software instrument featuring cinematic vocals, the first in the Sonora Cinematic Select series of sample libraries, which pursue affordability, ease of use, and great sound.

Features three articulations and a legato speed control that automatically adapts transition speed based on the content of your legato playing. Other features include an EXPRESSION control for dynamics manipulation, cinematic reverb and atmosphere, and snapshots for customizing your sound. It's a powerful yet user-friendly tool for creating rich vocal textures and melodic lines for soundtrack and ambient composition.

Major Features
・True Legato
'EMMA LEGATO' was developed in response to user requests for a 'True Legato' sample library. 'True Legato' is a sampling technique that captures not only single notes but also all the transitions between notes created by the performer. 'True Legato' enables expressive and highly realistic performances, but requires a huge number of samples.
To realize 'True Legato', we recruited the talented classically trained soprano Emma May Price, following on from our previous vocal library, 'Aria Vocalscapes'.

・Interface
The main interface offers three articulation options (Humming, Poco Vibrato, and Aahs), as well as a legato speed control and an EXPRESSION slider to control volume for precise dynamic expression.
Legato requires adjusting the speed of the transitions between notes to match the speed of your playing. When playing a slow, emotional line, you'll want a slow transition with a natural portamento. The SPEED control provides just that. The SPEED control also features an ""AUTO"" mode, which automatically adjusts the transition speed according to the distance between notes. The longer the distance, the slower the transition. ""AUTO"" mode can also be turned on/off with a key switch if you want to manually adjust the transition while using ""AUTO.""

ADVANCED controls are also available for those who want more precise control over legato.

Cinematic Reverb / Atmosphere
EMMA LEGATO features a cinematic reverb that's ideal for creating epic vocal sounds. For a more ambient sound, use the ATMOSPHERE effect, which offers two modes to suit your desired texture:
- BLUE: A sparkling, highly diffused, long-reverberating ambience.
- PINK: A slowly modulating reverb with granular-like processing.

- Snapshots
A selection of snapshots (presets) are provided to help you quickly achieve ready-to-use sounds.
