PANORAMA GUITARS is a modern post-rock guitar instrument born from a love for the post-rock and shoegaze guitar textures that have heavily influenced soundtracks over the past 30 years. Featuring the Aria Engine, created by Sonora Cinematic for KONTAKT instruments, it instantly creates captivating, atmospheric guitar textures by layering two guitar articulations. It fits seamlessly into any versatile, cinematic project, including pop, rock, lo-fi hip-hop, and more, requiring clean or crunch sounds. From evocative riffs and moving, melancholic melodies to warm, soulful tones, this album delivers layers of depth that will captivate your listeners.
Five classic electric guitars, a beautiful baritone guitar, and an electric bass are meticulously deep-sampled. Each instrument was played with carefully selected amplifiers and effects pedals and captured with high-end microphones and preamps to ensure the highest fidelity. We also collaborated with experimental ambient artist Elif Yalvac, whose unique approach infuses PANORAMA GUITARS with avant-garde textures and ambient soundscapes.
Load two of these high-quality guitar articulations into the Aria Engine, and utilize a wealth of controls and effects, including morphing with the intuitive built-in XY pad and filter/effect automation, to easily generate ever-changing textures and soundscapes. You can also import your own audio files to use as source material, allowing you to explore the limits of your creativity with your own unique sound palette.

Key Features
・Aria Engine
At the heart of PANORAMA GUITARS is the Aria Engine, offering modulation possibilities, expressive effects, and the ability to import your own samples. The Aria Engine controls 40 articulations, including electric guitar, baritone guitar, electric bass, and textures by ambient artist Elif Yalvac.
Load articulations into each of the two slots and use the intuitive XY pad to create textures by layering articulations. The XY pad allows you to crossfade layers, and further evolve your sound by assigning various effects and layer-specific filter parameters to the X and Y axes. Operations on the XY pad can be recorded and automated, making it easy to create ever-changing sounds.

・Adding Movement
Despite its sleek and simple interface, the Aria Engine's creative options don't end there. Each of the two layers features a step sequencer with up to 16 steps that controls the filters, adding rhythmic movement. Each layer also has its own LFO, which modulates the layer's volume and filter cutoff.
Furthermore, the three filter modulation sources (XY pad, step sequencer, and LFO) can be applied simultaneously, allowing for extremely complex modulation.

Built-in FX
The Aria Engine provides three effect slots to which you can assign various effects from KONTAKT PLAUER, adding color to your sound. Effect parameters assigned to each slot can be assigned to the X and Y axes of the XY pad.

Import Your Own Sound
The articulation list includes a USER ZONE, which you can import your own audio files into, allowing for limitless creative possibilities.
