Key Features
- Aria Engine
At the heart of ARIA: VOCALSCAPES is the newly developed Aria Engine, offering modulation possibilities, expressive effects, and the ability to import your own samples. The Aria Engine includes a variety of vocal samples by classically trained soprano Emma May Price. Approximately 40 articulations are available, ranging from classic ""Aah""s and ""Mmmh""s to deliberately unsynchronized improvisations, whispers, rhythmic triplets, and sounds sampled via analog tape.
Load articulations into each of the two slots and use the intuitive XY pad to create textures by layering them. The XY pad allows you to crossfade layers and further evolve your sound by assigning various parameters, such as effects and filters, to the X and Y axes. Operations on the XY pad can be recorded and automated, making it easy to create ever-changing sounds.

Adding Movement
Despite its elegantly simple interface, the Aria Engine's creative options extend far beyond its scope. A step sequencer with up to 16 steps controls the filters on each of the two layers, adding rhythmic movement. Each layer also has its own LFO, which modulates the layer's volume and filter cutoff.
Furthermore, the three filter modulation sources (XY pad, step sequencer, and LFO) can be applied simultaneously, allowing for extremely complex modulation.

Built-in FX
The Aria Engine features three effect slots to which you can assign various effects from the KONTAKT PLAYER, enhancing your sound. The parameters of the effect assigned to each slot can be freely assigned to the X and Y axes of the XY pad.

Import Your Own Sounds
The articulation list includes a USER ZONE, which allows you to import your own audio files, allowing for limitless creative possibilities.
