""AMPLE SLIDE LAPSTEEL"" is a software sound source that lets you play lap steel guitar freely. It supports styles such as psychedelic rock, ambient, Hawaiian, blues, and country. Nine articulations, including sustain, legato slide, slide in & out, quarter slide, natural harmonic, and legato vibrato, were painstakingly sampled from each string of a '70s Jedson Lap Steel (David Gilmour Custom Model with one EMG pickup), and are recorded with a dry, natural sound without reverberation. Audio samples are available in two microphone modes: mono and stereo.

In addition to the legato slide system designed to reproduce distinctive slides, the virtual slide algorithm combines with audio samples to change the tone by varying the slide start time. The Riff/phrase creation function supports the creation of riffs up to 64 bars long, and now includes a new Legato Position property for controlling legato start times. Furthermore, the built-in amp system lets you choose from six amp heads, seven cabinets, and eight microphones, and is combined with an 8-band EQ, a compressor with selectable RMS and Peak, a 6-Tap Echo, and an IR Reverb for ample sound creation.
