SpecCraft is a next-generation dynamic resonance suppressor, spectrum compressor, and smart EQ. It specializes in eliminating unwanted resonances—your biggest enemy in a mix. Whether it's harsh, shrill high frequencies or a muddy, rumbling low end, SpecCraft identifies them all and automatically suppresses them in sync with every moment of your music.

And that's not all. SpecCraft not only ""locates and suppresses"" unwanted resonances, it also generates a spectrum correction curve that fills the gaps in real time when the unwanted resonances are removed. This means that suppressing resonance won't make your sound thin or unnatural.

Resonance isn't all bad. That's why it's important to carefully adjust it, rather than forcibly eliminating it. SpecCraft's simple, easy-to-understand interface lets you find unwanted resonance faster than ever before, and its meticulously designed algorithm suppresses it surprisingly effectively. What's more, all of this can be easily controlled by simply clicking and dragging the mouse.

Intelligent Threshold Control with Real-Time Auto-Adjustment
SpecCraft features an intelligent threshold function (real-time threshold algorithm) that automatically adjusts based on the volume of the sound. This function automatically suppresses unwanted resonance at the optimal level at all times. Of course, you can also adjust the threshold manually. Let it adjust automatically, fine-tune it yourself, or do anything in between. SpecCraft is your trusted assistant, Sherlock Watson.

Self-adaptive Spectral Correction
Like yin and yang, the world is all about balance. The same is true in the world of sound. Simply suppressing unwanted resonances can disrupt the sound's balance, resulting in an overall flat, unsatisfying sound. To maintain balance, a common mixing technique is to remove harsh resonances with a narrow Q cut, then boost the entire frequency range with a wide Q boost.

SpecCraft employs this technique with its unique ""Self-adaptive Spectral Correction"" feature. This feature automatically analyzes the amount, frequency, and level of unwanted resonances, constantly calculating three EQ correction curves to maintain the optimal balance. With SpecCraft, you can effectively control unwanted resonances while avoiding a flat, unnatural, or overly compressed sound.

-Dynamics Compensation
This psychoacoustic-based algorithm automatically compensates for the loudness lost due to resonance suppression. By restoring the dynamics (volume envelope), it removes unwanted reverberation while maintaining a lively sound.

-Formant Boost
When resonance is excessively suppressed, the formants (spectral envelope) are flattened, causing the sound to lose its inherent character. This algorithm compensates for the spectral characteristics lost by suppressing unwanted resonance, preserving the sound's individuality.

-Treble Compensation
This special high-frequency response correction algorithm corrects the reverberation in the high-frequency range. It can suppress harsh sounds from high-pitched instruments like cymbals while maintaining their presence. It can also be used as a de-esser to suppress only the sibilant sounds in vocals.

Spectrum Slope
Music has a wide variety of frequency balances, making it difficult to apply the same settings to every sound. The Spectrum Slope allows you to tilt the spectrum display from 0dB/OCT to 12dB/OCT, allowing you to control unwanted high and low frequency resonances by balancing them with the Threshold curve.

Priority Curve
All Three-Body Tech products are highly flexible, and SpecCraft is no exception. In addition to Threshold, Adaptive Threshold, and Slope controls, the Priority Curve allows you to further fine-tune the amount of processing across a range of frequencies. This allows you to precisely control unwanted resonances and craft the sound you're after.

Profiling
SpecCraft allows you to create your own frequency response curves and use them as thresholds. This is similar to EQ matching, but dynamically performed every audio frame.
You can choose a threshold profile from pre-made presets, extract it from an audio file, or record and capture it in real time.
