The name ""CENOZOIX"" is inspired by the Cenozoic era, when mammals flourished after the extinction of the dinosaurs. Designed with an eye to the future, CENOZOIX COMPRESSOR usher in a new era of compressor plug-ins.

CENOZOIX COMPRESSOR not only features modern compression algorithms for all essential production elements, including ""Drum,"" ""Vocal,"" ""Bass,"" and ""Mastering,"" but also algorithms that recreate the sounds of vintage compressors, such as ""Black FET,"" ""Blue FET,"" ""Vintage Opto,"" and ""Virtual-Mu,"" striking the perfect balance between practicality and versatility. This compressor plug-in meets all your compression needs, from tight, modern sounds to heavy, vintage charm.

Ultra-fast attack and release times can introduce unwanted distortion when using existing compressors. CENOZOIX COMPRESSOR is ideal as a peak or sidechain compression option, avoiding this distortion. It's useful for softening thumping snare transients or creating pumping basslines along with kicks.

Conventional anti-aliasing methods aimed at preventing high-frequency distortion rely on CPU-intensive oversampling. CENOZOIX COMPRESSOR is the first compressor plug-in to incorporate Anti-Derivative Anti-Aliasing (ADAA), a technology originally used in waveshapers. This successfully reduces aliasing without placing a heavy load on the CPU.

CENOZOIX COMPRESSOR offers both Peak compression, which excels at capturing fast transients, and RMS compression, which delivers a more natural sound with its smooth attack and release. By switching between Peak and RMS compression and freely mixing them at different ratios, you can blend the strengths of each to achieve the response and compression that's best suited to complex audio material.
