5 Synthesis Modes
Kastle2 Alchemist features a carefully tuned, wide tonal range. Its five synthesis modes—FILTER, FM, HYPERSINE, SUPERSAW, and GLITCHNOISE—accessible via the main TIMBRE sweep, can be further refined using the RATIO control.

The ENV macro knob acts on various parts of the synth and sequence engine to maximize musicality. You can also continuously morph between synthesis modes to access highly unique sounds.

Furthermore, the dual FX section allows you to apply effects! You can dissolve arpeggios into echoing reverberations with a spacious delay, or color your sound with effects like chorus, flanger, distortion, and comb filter, each custom-tuned for each synthesis mode.

Using the PITCH SLIDE macro applies pitch envelopes and portamento, granting access to sounds with a rubber-like, smooth texture.

You can also customize rhythms and scales using a web-based app.

It excels at sessions with other portable gear, allowing you to sync via sync in/out ports, mix external signals with the Alchemist's output using the audio input, or route them through the built-in effects.
