FX Wizard is a stereo effects processor featuring nine types of creative FX. In addition to time-based FX like Delay, Flanger, Freezer, and Crusher, it also covers pitch-manipulating effects such as Pitcher and Replayer. Furthermore, it supports complex modulation via LFO, pattern generator, and envelope follower, delivering expressive capabilities worthy of its name: the “Modular Wizard.”

Two for One!
Citadel features a reversible front panel, with FX WIZARD on one side and WAVE BARD on the other. One unit, two roles. Flip the CITADEL front panel to switch freely between Wave Bard and FX Wizard.

It also includes a dedicated tool designed to make panel switching as smooth as possible.

You can also use the rear USB port to load existing and future firmware and updates for Citadel/Kastle 2 and try them out immediately.

From Kastle to Citadel
CITADEL is a Euro Rack-ready reimagining of the popular semi-modular desktop device, Kastle 2. CITADEL features a full 3.5mm patch bay, providing the flexibility required for the Eurorack format while retaining the strengths of Kastle 2. It functions well on its own and truly shines when patched with other modules. It also includes newly added switches for intuitive pattern generator operation.

Citadel provides the essential infrastructure needed to integrate a Eurorack system within an electronic music production context. It includes headphone output, TRS MIDI input and sync, a tempo generator with divider/multiplier, USB MIDI (on the module's rear panel), stereo mixing, an internal LFO and pattern generator, and effects functionality.

All this makes Citadel the perfect module for small or beginner systems, while its unique fun and creativity via Kastle 2 firmware—the multi-effects processor “FX WIZARD” and sample player “WAVE BARD”—ensure it holds its own even in large setups.
