Wave Bard is an experimental sound module that lets you freely manipulate stereo samples. It features a web editor for uploading and editing your own samples, along with diverse modulation functions including quantized pitch, reverse playback, built-in LFOs, and a pattern sequencer. This unit enables flexible sound design that sparks creativity.

Beats & Melodies
Samples are organized by bank and can be selected/sequenced using knob control or CV from the built-in pattern generator or LFOs.
Using the LENGTH knob and Wave Bard's unique reverse envelope, you can even play sounds in reverse!

This module is more than just a beat machine.
Play melodic samples with quantized scales and add color to your sound using the built-in filter, delay, and chorus/flanger effects.

Furthermore, using the web-based app, you can load not only your own samples but also rhythm and scale data.

Midi Inside Out
The Citadel Wave Bard isn't just a soundbox either.

Connect it to the USB port on the module's rear panel, and it functions as a powerful MIDI controller and sequencer.

Send precisely generated USB MIDI data to your DAW or USB MIDI devices, discovering new ways to play and interact through a uniquely modular interface.

Additionally, Citadel Wave Bard can receive TRS MIDI via its front panel and send/receive USB MIDI through the rear USB connector!

Sample
