Ivory 3 German D is the latest generation of Ivory software instruments, delivering a major leap in virtual piano reproduction. The all-new RGB engine perfectly combines the high-volume digital sampling of the acclaimed Ivory series with a modeling engine that calculates the piano's behavior in real time, delivering realistic and expressive sound.

Ivory 3 German D was newly recorded specifically for the RGB engine from a Steinway D-274 concert grand piano made in Hamburg, Germany, meticulously cared for by master concert technician Michel Pedneau. Powerful, deep, resonant bass and sweet, singing highs. And with refined tonal balance, it delivers the quintessence of the beautiful, memorable Steinway sound.

- New Generation RGB Engine
Ivory 3 is built on the award-winning technology of Ivory II. All of the features of Ivory II are carried over to the new Ivory 3 platform.

- Unlimited Timbre Changes
Ivory 3 features a new ""Continuous Velocity to Timbre"" function. Velocity layers and level limitations are a thing of the past. Continuous Velocity provides real-time velocity-to-timbre changes across all attack velocities.

- Multi-Mic
Ivory 3 now allows you to freely change and blend multiple microphone settings. Close, mid/side (M/S), and ambient settings are available.

Powerful, custom-made onboard mixing desk
The Ivory 3 mixing desk provides functions such as trim, gain, 3-band EQ, compression, ambience, chorus/delay, balance, M/S processing, bus sends, and parallel processing with multiple signal paths for each stereo channel.
