■Voice Library
Megurine Luka V4X's singing voice database was carefully crafted to include a wide variety of vocal tones, using extensive studio recordings of voice actress Yu Asakawa's voice and various editing techniques. The Japanese and English voice databases can be accessed using the included Piapro Studio vocal editor. It supports a variety of voice tones, including the E.V.E.C. function, gender factor, brightness, cross synthesis (morphing), and growl (growling/raunchy voices).

E.V.E.C. Function (Enhanced Voice Expression Control)
""E.V.E.C."" (Evec) is a newly designed set of functions for enhancing the singing voice. It allows for subtle vocal expression (vowels), pronunciation switching, and breath control—all of which were previously difficult to achieve with VOCALOID. This allows you to bring the VOCALOID singing voice closer to the dynamic singing expression that the creator envisions. In addition, by combining it with the Cross Synthesis function, you can freely blend the voice you've added with voices from other singing voice databases.

- Japanese Database
Favourite Tempo: 50-170 BPM / Favourite Range: E2-F4
The Japanese database features the newly developed ""E.V.E.C."" function, allowing you to control the strength and weakness of the voice for each note, vocal timbre, breathiness at the end of words, and consonant emphasis. Furthermore, the Cross Synthesis function allows for smooth control of vocal tension, while the Growl function allows for the expression of intense growls. Using these in combination allows for a wide variety of vocal expressions.

・HARD (2 types: with/without E.V.E.C.)
A power-type database that increases vocal tension the higher the pitch. Combined with the E.V.E.C. Voice Color function, this is ideal for sharp, detailed expression. It allows for accenting cute voices or voices with a slightly closed mouth, and allows for gradual control of vocal tension.

・SOFT (2 types: with/without E.V.E.C.)
A soft-type database created with a soft, gentle vocalization. Combined with the E.V.E.C. Voice Color function, it's ideal for singing ballads with a fragile, breathing voice. Additionally, accenting with a stronger Voice Color allows for dynamic expression not available with conventional soft/whisper sound sources.

・English Database
Optimal Tempo: 50-170 BPM / Optimal Range: G#2-C4
By cross-synthesizing the two English databases, STRAIGHT and SOFT, the voices can smoothly control vocal tension and power, a feat not available in previous English voice libraries. The growl function can also be used to create intense, growling voices.

・STRAIGHT
This database features natural pronunciation and vocal quality, allowing for clearer singing. Cross-synthesis also allows for vocal tension control.

This database features a soft, gentle vocal quality. Cross-synthesis also allows for vocal tension control.

""Piapro Studio"" is a next-generation vocal editor developed by Crypton. Plug-in support ensures high integration with DAW apps (music production software). With light and intuitive controls, you can edit vocal parts without measure limits while having Megurine Luka sing. The newly added E.V.E.C. and VOCALOID4 functions are also flexibly controlled.

Megurine Luka V4X includes Steinberg's Cubase LE DAW software, as well as a wide variety of software instruments, sound materials, and effects.

This DAW software (music production workstation) allows you to edit rhythms and melodies with intuitive controls. Use Piapro Studio to have Megurine Luka sing, and then create music using the included software instruments, sound materials, and effects. A variety of VST plug-ins are also available.

Hundreds of instruments are available for music production. Create music in a variety of genres.

""VOCALOID6 Editor Lite"" is vocal editing software that synthesizes natural, expressive singing voices.
