McDSP FutzBox is more than just a lo-fi plug-in. From fat breakbeat sounds to dialogue sounds that need to be adapted to the scene, FutzBox can handle it all. With a wide selection of models, including radio, telephone, and TV sounds, it's a valuable tool for time-pressured post-production environments. The SIM (Synthetic Impulse Model) used in this model requires significantly less DSP and CPU load than convolution plug-ins. SIM's scale parameters can be adjusted in real time, allowing you to hear the results immediately. If you want to further shape the sounds from the SIM library, rest assured. McDSP's acclaimed filters and EQs are included, as well as distortion, noise generators, and gates. Use the Mix knob to adjust the balance between the original signal and the processed sound, and automate scene transitions.
