McDSP has released plug-ins such as FilterBank and CompressorBank that have become synonymous with EQ and compression for Pro Tools. Even if you're not familiar with the company's name, you've likely seen its green interface in a studio or in a magazine feature on ""Guitar/Vocal Recording Techniques."" The Classic Pack bundles McDSP's FilterBank and CompressorBank with the Analog Channel, which recreates the sound of analog head amps and tape machines, and the MC2000, a multi-band compressor with the same flexibility as CompressorBank, including freely adjustable knee.
