Channel G Compact was designed to retain the sound quality of Channel G while extracting key features and reducing DSP load. Channel G Compact is equipped with a console-style compressor/limiter, a 4-band EQ, and high-pass/low-pass filters. Channel G Compact's EQ modes can be selected from music, post, and modes that replicate popular analog consoles. The compressor's knee characteristics can also be selected from a variety of types, including console bus comp. Like Channel G, the Channel G Compact user interface is designed for compatibility with Digidesign ICON D-Control/D-Command and VenueD-Show/Profile.
