The Made in Japan Godzilla Stratocaster Blue is a special model created in collaboration between Godzilla, the world-famous special effects monster movie series celebrating its 70th anniversary since the release of the film in 1954, and Fender's Stratocaster, which also celebrates its 70th anniversary in 2024.

The design is inspired throughout by the power and charm of Godzilla, the ""King of the Monsters.""

The alder body is laminated with myrtlewood, stained a deep blue, and finished with a gloss finish, expressing Godzilla's distinctive, imposing presence. The neck features a ""Modern C"" profile and 22 medium jumbo frets. The Godzilla logo boldly appears near the 12th fret, creating a strong visual impact.

Sound has also been meticulously considered, with the Tone 2 knob activating the built-in distortion circuit. Furthermore, the guitar features a ""G.L.O - Gain-Linked Optics"" mechanism (patent pending), which changes light intensity according to the amount of distortion. This allows Godzilla's dorsal fin, designed into the pickguard, to glow, increasing in intensity as distortion increases. The image of an enraged Godzilla just before unleashing his heat ray is expressed through sound and light, creating an effect on both the visual and auditory senses.

Furthermore, it is equipped with a ""Custom Godzilla Humbucking"" pickup developed specifically for this model, delivering an overwhelmingly heavy sound. This one-of-a-kind guitar has been meticulously crafted down to the smallest detail, including the all-black hardware.

A special neck plate, certificate, and dedicated hard case are included to symbolize this collaboration.
