SuperKar+ is a Euro Rack voice module featuring Karplus-Strong synthesis. It reproduces a wide range of sounds, from plucked and bowed strings, struck and blown pipes and tubes, and percussive textures, to legato melodies and smart harmonizing chords. It delivers the most intuitive and compelling sounds of Karplus-Strong synthesis.

Karplus-Strong is a type of delay feedback synthesizer where every tone and texture is in a state of constant flux. SuperKar+ is an instrument with a highly engaging response, capable of generating infinite subtle yet dramatic tonal shifts through slight variations in attack/decay time and damping, while randomly detuning each note to produce authentic-sounding tones.

Self-Contained Voice Module
Thanks to the characteristics of Karplus-Strong synthesis, SuperKar+ requires no dedicated VCA or amp envelope. Each voice—solo and chord—features independent attack, decay, and damping. Furthermore, this module includes an internal mixer with independent output levels for both voices, plus multiple stereo and mono audio output modes.

Two instruments in one: independent melody and chord
SuperKar+ is divided into two parts—a solo voice and a chord voice—meaning two distinct voices that can be played simultaneously or independently as needed. Both voices can be individually triggered and pitch-adjusted via CV (Control Voltage), while the solo voice can be polyphonically controlled via MIDI.

Both voices can select independent tones, each with its own level control, and can be routed to separate audio outputs as needed.
