AJH Synth / Dual Contour black

Features two independent contour envelope generators in a 12hp Eurorack module. Uses the same circuitry and component values as the Model D contour generator, operating on the original +9.3V and -10V power supply voltages. Equipped with a manual trigger button and envelope status LED.

The contour generator plays a far greater role in the Model D's sound than many people realize. First, its exponential slope, combined with the original VCA's (nearly) linear slope, creates the famous Model D “punch.” Second, its retrigger behavior is highly unique: repeated retriggers increase the output level, causing the volume to gradually rise or the filter to gradually open with each key press.

Instead of the shared switch found on the original synthesizer, we added independent decay switches for each individual contour generator. This switch changes the contour response from AD mode (switch up) to ADSD mode (switch down).
