軽やかで素朴な音です

Aquila NylgutからAquila Sugarに乗り換えました。
Nylgutはどんなウクレレでも鳴らしてしまう魔法の弦ですが、所有する1本のウクレレにはどうしても合いませんでした。
ハワイアンコア単板のコンサートですが、反応が良すぎるのかNylgutだと高音が強く出て、また、弾くときに爪が当たるとカチカチするので好きではありませんでした。フロロカーボンも高音がキンキンして合いません。ナイロンだともっさりして好みではありません。

このため、ほとんど弾かずにケースに入っていたのですが、AquilaのSugarが合うのではとAIが教えてくれました。
Sugarにして正解でした。キンキンした高音は押さえられ、素朴で軽やかな中音がどんどん前に出てきます。テンションも柔らかで爪が当たってもカチカチしません。
他のサイトでは弦を擦るとキュッキュッと鳴るので使い物にならないとのレポートもあり心配したのですが、左手でスライドさせてもノイズは出ません。サウンドホールの辺りで手のひらで擦るとキュッキュッと鳴りますが、そんな風にウクレレは弾きませんので、まったく問題ありません。
