This Master EQ 432 module is a plug-in based on the legendary Master EQ, considered the ""gold standard"" of mastering equalizers. The original was the first parametric EQ, developed by two of the most inventive pioneers in the history of recording technology. This design became the foundation for countless subsequent parametric EQs around the world.

A parametric EQ, which allows completely independent control of each frequency band without mutual interference between bands, was thought to be impossible with the technology of the time. The transparent acoustic characteristics and musical sound achieved through this ""magical"" circuitry—a component configuration that uncompromisingly ensures quality, independent high-performance custom op-amps, and a completely transformerless signal path—have led to its use in mastering studios around the world since its inception, but it is now difficult to obtain. Our team at IK has used the latest DSP technology to recreate as many nuances of this legendary mastering EQ as possible in a modern digital DAW format. This is the first plug-in to model this legendary classic, and its sound far surpasses today's standard digital EQs.
