Unlike traditional sample-based drum sound sources, MODO DRUM uses IK's proprietary modal synthesis-based sound generation technology, breathing new life into your drum tracks with an optimized sound engine.

The basic ""sound"" of a drum kit is determined by the physical components of each instrument. However, the final sound is determined not only by physical elements such as the size, material, and drumhead of the instrument, but also by playing style, the interaction between the drum head and body, the resonance between the instruments that make up the drum kit, and the room's resonance.
