A Valuable Collection of Vintage Drum Machines
Beat Machines is an expansion pack for SampleTank 4 featuring over 100 vintage drum machine sounds. It includes 1.6GB of round-robin samples, over 300 MIDI pattern files, and is optimized to take full advantage of SampleTank 4's powerful built-in effects.

A History of Groove Machines
Beat Machines features many of the most iconic machines in music history, from '60s swing to '80s hip-hop and '90s house. From early ACE TONE to iconic TR-808 and 909 machines, as well as rare models, drum synths, and modern sounds, this collection is packed with endless inspiration.

Versatile Sound Arrangement
More than 200 presets are General MIDI (GM) based, allowing you to easily add the sounds of these classic drum machines to your projects. GM arrangements are also used in many of the other drum kits available in SampleTank 4, making it easy to swap and layer sounds.

Extensive Percussion
Each preset features GM-based vintage electronic percussion built from percussion from multiple hardware drum machines. These vibrant percussion sounds enhance the original machine sounds with even more punch, making this an essential library for your collection.

Build Your Own Vintage Kit
In addition to the main drum kit presets, you can also use ""Single Element"" presets, which combine individual sounds from each kit. Using SampleTank 4's Multis, you can combine different presets for up to 16 parts to create your own original kits. For example, you could combine a Roland TR-808 kick, a Maestro Rhythm King snare, a Simmons SDS-V tom, and an Elka Wilgamat hi-hat.

Shape Your Sound Without Compromise with Effects
SampleTank 4 offers five effect slots per part. With up to 16 parts, you can simultaneously use five different effects for each of the kick, snare, toms, hi-hat, cymbals, and percussion. You can also use send/return buses to apply reverb and compression to each part, or add up to five effects to the final master bus.
