This 5-piece drum set is a limited edition model from the TAMA Starclassic Performer series for 2025, featuring the limited edition ""Green Globe Aurora"" color scheme and black nickel hardware.

The TAMA Starclassic Performer series drum sets have inherited the ""excellent shell resonance"" of Starclassic drums, while revising and evolving the shell materials and hardware to meet modern needs. The distinctive vertical stripes, painted by hand by artisans, are a one-of-a-kind design on each drum. The hues created by the overlapping of various shades of green create a depth reminiscent of sacred forests. Furthermore, the addition of black nickel parts gives the entire drum kit a dark, mystical presence.

■Shells (Maple/Birch)
TT/FT: 6mm, 4-ply Birch + 2-inner-ply Maple
BD: 7mm, 5-ply Birch + 2-inner-ply Maple
The shell material is a hybrid shell, combining 2 inner plies of maple and 2 outer plies of birch.
The warmth and clarity of the maple shell's resonance, combined with the distinct sonic image and solid attack of birch, creates a balanced, clear, and punchy sound.

■Green Grove Aurora Finishes
The vertical stripes are created by pouring solvent into the green base paint, and are hand-painted by artisans. Each instrument is subtly different, adding to its charm.

■Die-Cast Hoops
The highly rigid zinc die-cast hoops keep the contact surface between the head and hoop perpendicular at all times, ensuring sensitive response even to critical tuning. Another major attraction is the powerful sound with a clear fundamental tone.

■Black Nickel Shell Hardware
The limited edition Green Grove Aurora shell color features black nickel hardware that further enhances the finish.

■Star-Cast Mounting System
The tom mount uses the Star-Cast Mounting System. To avoid interfering with the resonance of the tom shell, the system assumes the tom is held by the hoop in the hand. The tom is mounted on an arm plate supported by vibration-damping rubber at three points on the hoop. This efficiently transmits vibrations from the head to the shell, preventing them from escaping to other parts.
