HOMARE is the world's first patented shoulder rest, entirely made in Japan. It was conceived and developed by professional orchestra violinists and violists who gathered feedback and requests regarding shoulder rests from renowned soloists and veteran orchestra players. (All made in Japan). Launched in the final year of the Heisei era (first year of Reiwa), its new shape and structure earned it a patent as the “world's first” shoulder rest of its kind.
