""EZX - FUSION"" is an EZX expansion library with deep resonance and clear sound, suitable for everything from classic fusion to modern fusion.
Recorded by drummer Pete Riley (Guthrie Govan, Keith Emerson, Billy Sheehan) and engineer Stefano Civetta (Nile Rogers, Ed Sheeran, Earth, Wind and Fire).

This product features four unique drum kits, one of which was recorded with two different drumhead configurations. Each kit features seven toms, including extra sounds such as a side snare, octoban, cowbell, and gong bass drum. Cymbals range from splash cymbals to rides, stacks, and china cymbals.
Additionally, it includes ready-to-use presets and drum grooves, allowing you to easily create drum tracks that combine Pete Riley's impeccable drum playing with Stefano Civetta's engineering elements.

While this work is worthy of the ""fusion"" category, another of its appeals is its ability to explore new sounds without being bound by genre.

""EZX - MODERN RETRO"" is an EZX expansion library with an organic, tight sound suitable for pop, soul, R&B, and more.
It features unique drum kits used in the 1950s.

This product was produced by engineer/producer/mixer Christoffer Berg (Depeche Mode, The Killers, Robyn, etc.) and drummer Christopher Cantillo (Carly Rae Jepsen, Mayer Hawthorne, Dina Ogon, etc.).

The recording took place at Svenska Grammofonstudion Studio in Gothenburg, Sweden. With a ceiling height of approximately 10 meters, the studio is open and offers a moderate amount of reverberation. This is the perfect space for recording the tight, natural drum sounds required for modern beats.

In addition to standard microphones, the Mid/Side method (a combination of ribbon and tube microphones) was used for recording, providing a deeper sound image.
To further enhance the vintage feel, calfskin and cowskin drumheads were used to achieve a distinctive, old-school sound.

The kit also includes numerous presets tailored to the kit and a dedicated MIDI library. The presets allow you to enjoy high-contrast mixes that utilize organic sounds, saturation, distortion, compression, and more. The MIDI library includes basic drum grooves and fills, suitable for everything from retro music production to modern sounds.

This is the definitive EZX that combines retro and modern styles.
