MR Click features independent processors for click noise and crackle.
The ""click noise"" referred to by this plug-in refers to loud noises caused by scratches on a record or digital signal joints. The click processor automatically detects clicks and removes them by reconstructing the audio signal around them.
""Crackle"" refers to high-frequency roughness caused by dust or wear in the record grooves. The crackle processor automatically detects crackle and removes it by smoothing the signal around the crackle. The crackle processor also includes a start detector that suppresses the start of events such as snare hits and cymbal crashes.
