Tube Saturator is a vacuum tube amplifier plug-in developed using WaveArts' analog circuit reproduction technology. While many products claim to reproduce analog equipment but actually generate sound by referencing input and output waveform tables, Tube Saturator uses genuine circuit simulation technology.

Wave Arts' modeling process first compiles information about the components, values, and connections that make up the circuit in the form of a ""netlist."" Components currently supported by the simulator include voltage/current sources, resistors, capacitors, inductors, and operational amplifiers. Non-linear characteristics are applied to diodes, vacuum tubes, transistors, and other components. The simulator converts the circuit netlist using non-linear differential equations.
