In partnership with Overstayer founder Jeff Turzo, the harmonic shaper processor M-A-S has been made into the world's first native plug-in!
Equipped with Dual and 2ND modes for creating energetic and cohesive mixes, the emphasis has been expanded to six types: Classic M-A-S, Low Bandwidth, Low Presence, High Presence, Bass Distortion, and Treble Distortion. It also includes the M-A-S Extended expansion unit, which integrates high-pass/low-pass filters and a four-band emphasis EQ, as well as modules for Amp Room and Modular. A multi-purpose harmonic shaper for your DAW, from HiFi saturation to hard distortion/finalization.

Turzo began designing equipment for his own use, but word of his extraordinary designs spread like gossip down Sunset Boulevard, and in 2009 Overstayer Recording Equipment was born.

Softube's Overstayer M-A-S plug-in offers two versions with the same saturation and peak suppression functionality as the hardware: M-A-S and M-A-S Extended, which focuses on tone shaping. Have you ever imagined how much more modern music would shine if it were artifact-free?

M-A-S allows you to increase the perceived loudness without introducing compression timing artifacts.
M-A-S tame harsh transients, enhancing and bringing out the character and detail of your audio. It also reduces brittleness and unevenness at peaks.

The Overstayer M-A-S plug-in replaces track and bus compression, limiting, and bus compression, allowing you to easily balance your mix.

- Increases perceived volume without introducing artifacts due to compression timing, eliminating the need for compression or limiting.
