The Model 80 Five Voice Synthesizer accurately models the sound, interaction, and performance of the legendary five-voice synthesizer in a plug-in.
The expansion panel adds the original factory presets used on countless classic songs, a meticulously captured voice modulation section, and modern workflow-friendly features like polyportamento glide, voice pan spread, velocity and aftertouch modulation, quantize filter cutoff, DAW sync, an aging knob, and voice modulation inversion.
Additionally, a Softube Modular module is available, bringing the instrument to a modern era.

A Visionary Re-creation of the Original
Everything about the legendary five-voice synthesizer is iconic, including its presets.
To realistically recreate the experience of recalling presets on the hardware, the Model 80 features 40 of the original factory presets, along with buttons in the Programmer section to recall them.
In addition, by meticulously capturing the five voices and the interrelationships between them, we achieved the organic sound that only analog can deliver. Attention to detail in the circuitry and operation ensures the sound, atmosphere, and feel of the original are faithfully recreated.

An Inspired Voice Modulation Section
Softube takes modeling seriously, and the Model 80's voice modulation section is no exception.
To accurately capture the original hardware, we needed to accurately recreate the phase and modulation polarity.
This effort has allowed us to meticulously emulate the sound, modulation, and even the feel of the legendary synth.
And with the addition of voice modulation inversion, quantize cutoff, velocity and aftertouch to the expansion panel, we've given you even more control than the original hardware, making this a more versatile synthesizer suited to modern workflows.
