At the heart of the Mike-E is the best-in-class CompSat.
The compressor's backbone is the legendary Distressor, one of the most acclaimed compressors of its era. In addition to its wide control range, innovative features, and long attack time, the Mike-E features a specially designed gain control circuit for a warm, comfortable analog sound.
The saturator features an excellent multi-stage soft-clipping circuit that prevents harshness, and Emphasis enhances tone.
The multi-stage Emphasis circuit boosts high frequencies before the CompSat circuit and then cuts them after the CompSat circuit.
And the best part is NUKE.
