""ABBEY ROAD ORCHESTRA: HIGH PERCUSSION CORE"" features a wide variety of high-quality percussion instruments, from the sharp timbre of three carefully recorded snare drums to congas, timbales, and rototoms. The clear, precise performances of 62 percussion instruments breathe life into the rhythms.

This album condenses the sound of Abbey Road Studios - Studio One, where numerous classic albums have been produced, into a single microphone mix. The acoustics of the legendary studio are captured intact while maintaining the sense of groove.

The recording engineer is Grammy Award-winning Simon Rhodes, known for his work on ""Skyfall"" and ""Avatar."" The performance is by Joby Burgess, a renowned percussionist whose work spans a wide range of genres, from film scores to game scores, and even world-class concert halls and club stages. The dynamism and realism of each drum is vividly captured in the legendary acoustics of Abbey Road Studios - Studio One.

This library was created by some of the world's most respected recording producers and is intended for professional composers working in film, television, games, and theater.

To further enhance your creative flow, this product includes a free MIDI pack of essential drum rudiments. These rudiments have been programmed specifically for this product, and intuitive left and right hand mapping allows for realistic performance expression.

Deep Sampling for Realistic Dynamics

Up to 16 round robin levels and 11 velocity layers recreate orchestral and ethnic percussion instruments with unprecedented realism. Highly responsive and tactile, this instrument explores the range of tones and textures of 20 drums. Each drum features up to seven different beaters, capturing hits, rolls, swirls, sweeps, and more in stunning detail. All performed by Joby Burgess.
