ABBEY ROAD ORCHESTRA: LOW PERCUSSION CORE is a collection that lets you fully experience the earth-shattering power of low-pitched percussion instruments. Featuring 20 types of massive bass drums, from the Surdo and Gran Cassa to the massive 60-inch Giant Taiko, every detail of the mallets, playing techniques, and articulations has been faithfully recreated.

This release condenses the sound of Abbey Road Studios - Studio One, where numerous classic albums were produced, into a single microphone mix. The acoustics of the legendary studio are captured intact while preserving the sense of groove.

The recording engineer is Grammy Award-winning Simon Rhodes, known for his work on films like ""Skyfall"" and ""Avatar."" The performance is handled by renowned percussionist Joby Burgess, who has worked on a wide range of projects, from film and video game scores to world-class concert halls and club stages. The dynamism and realism of each drum is vividly captured in the legendary acoustics of Abbey Road Studios - Studio One.

This library was created by some of the world's most respected producers and is intended for professional composers working in film, television, games, and theater.

To further enhance your creative flow, this product includes a free MIDI pack of essential drum rudiments. These rudiments have been programmed specifically for this product, and intuitive left and right hand mapping allows for realistic playing expression.

Deep sampling for realistic dynamics.
Up to 12 round robins and 10 velocity layers recreate orchestral and ethnic percussion instruments with unprecedented realism. Highly responsive and tactile, these drums explore the range of timbres and textures of 20 drums. Each drum features up to seven different beaters, capturing hits, rolls, swirls, sweeps, and more in stunning detail. All performed by Joby Burgess.
