Uncompressed 24-bit sampling from legendary master tapes
100 legendary sounds from Mellotron & Chamberlin
100 legendary sounds from the vast collection of Mellotron and Chamberlin master tapes copyrighted by Mellotron, Inc. The 100 legendary sounds are carefully selected from Mellotron's vast collection of copyrighted Mellotron and Chamberlin master tapes. Every key has been carefully sampled in uncompressed 24-bit without compromise. The master tapes were played back on the company's brand new Mellotron MkVI, and the audio was recorded at 7.5 to 9.0 seconds of audio without looping, making it the best-sounding audio in the world. Flash memory is used for file storage, eliminating annoying loading times and allowing for instantaneous switching of many tones.
The Mellotron Micro Module can be operated in the same way as a tape playback Mellotron (M400 or Mk VI). Just as the original allows simultaneous playback of adjacent tracks (track A and B, or track B and C) depending on the position of the tape head, the Mellotron Micro Module allows the mix balance of each track to be adjusted using the Mix knob. The Mellotron Micro Module has a Mix knob that allows the user to adjust the mix balance of each track.
The Mellotron Micro Module is not equipped with a sound card slot and is not compatible with the Mellotron Sound Card series.
