It's ideal for stage and television recordings in combination with wireless systems, as well as for close-up recording of musical instruments. The CORE 4061 microphone capsule is ultra-compact, measuring just 5.4mm in diameter. Choose from four colors—black, beige, brown, and white—to best suit your application, allowing for discreet installation.

Furthermore, thanks to CORE technology, the dynamic range has been improved by 14dB compared to the current model (SC4061), to 111dB, and the total harmonic distortion (THD) is less than 1% (137dB SPL peak). With low distortion across the entire frequency range, you can capture everything from whispers to screams and loud instruments with exceptionally clear, natural DPA sound.

The CORE 4061 is a low-sensitivity model with a maximum sound pressure level of 144dB SPL. It's ideal for capturing loud vocal situations, such as screams, and instruments with high sound pressure levels, such as trumpets.
The CORE 4061 also comes with two types of miniature grids that physically change the high-frequency characteristics depending on the grid shape. You can use either one depending on your application.
