・What is a B-Bender?
A B-Bender is a device that temporarily raises the pitch of the B string (2nd string) and is used to create the distinctive ""weeping"" phrasing in country and rock music. While traditional B-Benders have a complex structure that requires a strap pin, this Virtual Mix model achieves the same effect without extensive modifications to the guitar.
・Installation
Use the screw holes on the left and right sides of the main plate to secure the saddles to the intonation screws (1st & 2nd strings / 3rd & 4th strings) on the bridge plate.
To accommodate the B string, a small groove must be machined into the bridge plate (or a pre-installed plate can be used).
- Arm Adjustment: The adjustment screw at the top of the palm arm allows you to change the arm's range of motion, allowing you to set it to suit your playing style.
