Banko ware (Banko-yaki) is a type of traditional Japanese ceramic designated as an official Traditional Craft by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry in 1979.
Originating in Yokkaichi City, Mie Prefecture, it is also recognized as an intangible cultural asset of the region. Known for its durability and heat resistance, Banko ware is ideal for teapots, cookers, and clay pots—holding approximately 80% of the market share for donabe in Japan.

Though seemingly unrelated to the outdoors at first glance, the resilience of Banko ware makes it an excellent fit for outdoor use—hence this unique collaboration with LOGOS.
