UNIVERSAL AUDIO/Apollo e1x is a single-channel microphone/line preamplifier that connects to a Dante network.
■Apollo e1x (Remote-controllable Unison Preamp) Product Overview
This single-channel Unison preamp is designed specifically for Dante network audio over PoE and can be remotely controlled from an Apollo x16D. The 5/8-inch thread on the bottom makes it easy to mount on a microphone stand, and a bracket is included for connecting multiple e1x units.
When paired with an Apollo x16D interface, it functions as a Unison mic preamp for API, Avalon, Manley, Neve, SSL, and other brands. It enables powerful I/O solutions, including the e2m, over Dante network audio.
■Apollo e1x Key Features and Specifications
The Apollo e1x connects to an Apollo x16D via Dante, allowing you to add a Unison mic/line preamp anywhere on the Dante network, with easy control from the UAD Console app.
The renowned Unison technology of Apollo interfaces reproduces the classic tones of mic preamps from API, Neve, Manley, SSL, and more at a hardware level. Live mix with the preamp character, tone, and detail you hear on your favorite albums.
Apollo e1x can also be used as a remotely controllable mic/line preamp on any Dante network, even without an Apollo x16D. From additional onstage connections to FOH measurement microphones or fixed preamps for podiums, it's ideal for expanding inputs regardless of the Dante-enabled interface you're using.
If you need multiple e1x mic preamps, the included coupling bracket allows for easy and secure physical mounting. There are also mic stand mounting threads on the bottom, allowing for a neat and tidy setup anywhere.
