""AMPLE METAL RAY5 III"" is a 5-string bass sound source from the ""AMPLE METAL"" series for metal/hard rock, allowing you to play the MUSICMAN Classic Stingray5 model to your heart's content on your computer. Each string has been meticulously sampled from the 0th to 21st frets. The powerful sound is well-suited to amp simulators, and each string can be tuned down one step, with the 5th string even tuning down to Low-A (sustain only), allowing for heavy sounds.

The album features a dry, natural sound with no reverberation, including all the necessary articulations—sustains, palm mutes, legato slides, hammer-ons, and pull-offs. Velocity layering and round robin technology eliminate the ""machine gun effect"" even when playing the basic bass root notes. Randomization of picking attack strength and automatic insertion of fret and release noises at appropriate points enhance lively performances.

In addition, with version 4, the ""Riffer"" function for creating bass riffs has been updated to ""Riffer 4."" Riff editing is now possible using the newly added piano roll screen. Notes are color-coded in four colors for each string played on the piano roll, allowing you to visualize which notes are played on which strings while editing. It also features a DAW-like MIDI CC and velocity editor. You can even specify chords or keys to transpose notes together.

Additionally, the built-in amp system allows you to select your favorite model from three amp heads, four cabinets, and four microphones, allowing you to enjoy creating vintage amp sounds right from the moment you install it. It also features a Tab Player panel that loads and plays tablature created in Guitar Pro tablature and score editing software formats (.gp3, .gp4, .gp5, .gpx), an 8-band EQ, a compressor with selectable RMS and Peak, a 6-Tap Echo, and an IR Reverb. The AMPLE METAL RAY5 III is a bass sound source that combines ease of use with the necessary articulation and functionality to support the low bass lines unique to a five-string bass.
