AMPLE BASS J 4 is a bass instrument that lets you play the FENDER JAZZ BASS exactly how you want.

This approximately 3.7GB library contains natural sounds meticulously sampled using a JAZZ BASS designed by FENDER master builder John English, playing with fingers and picks on frets 0-20 of each string. While capturing the distinctive characteristics of the Jazz Bass, this sound is also well-suited for modern sound creation, as it works well with amp simulators. Velocity layering and round robin technology eliminate the ""machine gun effect"" even when playing the basic bass root notes. Each string can be downtuned up to one note, and the fourth string can play up to a low B (sustain only).

It offers a full range of articulations, including sustain, palm mute, slide in/out, staccato, and slap. Automatic fret noise insertion, string buzz, accent noise when played hard, and dead notes are also available, allowing for lively performances. While offering all the necessary articulations and features, it's designed to be incredibly easy to use.

Also, starting with version 4, the ""Riffer"" function for creating bass riffs has been updated to ""Riffer 4."" Editing riffs using the newly added piano roll screen is now possible. Notes are color-coded in the piano roll, allowing you to visualize which notes are played on which strings. It also comes equipped with a DAW-like MIDI CC and velocity editor. You can even specify chords or keys and transpose notes together.

The built-in amp system lets you choose your favorite model from three amp heads, four cabinets, and four microphones, allowing you to enjoy creating vintage amp sounds right from the start. It also features a Tab Player panel that reads and plays tablature created in Guitar Pro tablature and score editing software formats (.gp3, .gp4, .gp5, .gpx), an 8-band EQ, a compressor with selectable RMS and Peak, a 6-Tap Echo, and an IR Reverb, making it a visually intuitive and easy-to-use bass sound module.

""Capo Logic"" automatically selects the optimal fret/position.

""Capo"" transposes the note while retaining the keyswitch and input note.

Adjustable attack time and start time, the time between when your finger or pick strikes the string and when it is struck and sounds.

""Volume Ratio"" sets the volume ratio between slap and other articulations.
