JOMOX / Alpha Base Mk2

  • メーカーサイトManufacturer Site
The Jomox Moonwind MkII returns with multiple advancements, including an OLED display, touchpad, and buttons for quick access.
Product Overview

A true analog stereo filter, Moonwind MkII features a step sequencer, digital effects, two LFOs, VCA, two ADSR envelopes, envelope followers, and much more. All parameters can be saved and they can also be controlled via MIDI. And Moonwind MkII has a fixed CV input/output and six assignable CV inputs, making it versatile enough to work with many analog hardware environments, including Eurorack.

Features
Stereo Analog Filters
Moonwind MkII features two independent filters. Both channels have four filter types: low-pass, band-pass, high-pass, and notch, and a variety of routing settings, including serial and parallel as well as stereo. The feedback from these routing settings can create unpredictable and complex tones that can be intense distortion or scream-like.
When oscillating in self-resonant mode, the Moonwind Mk II can be played like a synth with MIDI notes, or a filter can be used to play melodies.

Digital Effects
Moonwind MkII's digital effects are freely selectable from 16 different algorithms. Each effect algorithm has three parameters that can be controlled via external MIDI CCs or CVs. Included are typical effects such as reverb, chorus, and flanger, as well as Jomox's own algorithms such as wave guide, bitcrush, warp tracker, and formant filter.

Step Sequencer
The built-in sequencer allows you to set cutoff, Q, and resonance for each step and left/right filter. Combined with the built-in LFO, envelopes, and various external CV modulations, Moonwind MkII can dramatically change your sound in creative ways.

Touch Pad
The touchpad at the bottom of the screen allows intuitive operation of filter parameters, editing of various parameters and sequence data, and various other operations. Since filter operation information can be recorded directly into the sequencer, Moonwind MkII can be played like a synthesizer and seamlessly adapts to the DAW recording environment, making it an extremely easy-to-use analog sound engine.

*Operational Transconductance Amplifier : in other words, it is not a transistor ladder filter (so-called Moog filter) like the one in the T-Resonator. It thereby provides excellent performance over a wide sound range of 10Hz to 30kHz.

**With resonance = 0 and Q = max, the filter functions as a very narrow bandwidth filter with no self-oscillation (sine wave oscillation). If the resonance is greater than 0, Q must also be set to a value greater than 0 in order for the filter to oscillate.

***The filters can be configured as stereo, parallel (both filter outputs mixed into a mono signal), serial (both filters interconnected), feedback (part of the output signal crosses back to the other filter and vice versa), or feedback parallel (same principle as feedback, but both signals are mixed). signals are mixed)
