The RS909 is a module that faithfully reproduces the rim shots of the TR-909.

While the original TR-909 did not allow for sound editing, the RS909 allows you to control the tuning of the two oscillators, OSC1 and OSC2, with the knobs. You can get classic sounds as well as new sounds using this circuit. Setting these tunes to the points indicated on the panel will give you a rim shot sound that is true to the 909.
