BFD Wooden Snares is a collection of premium wood-shell snare drums exclusively for BFD3. Wood-shell snares are known for their warm, thick, and round sound. This expansion pack features five models that exude that beautiful, iconic character. The diverse snare models, selected for their varied materials, shell thicknesses, and depths, offer a wide range of sounds ideal for genres such as metal, hard rock, rock, pop, funk, and jazz. Each snare was meticulously recorded with and without wire. Additionally, all models include natural and processed versions. These snares are mix-ready and sure to inspire your next project.

Each snare drum was recorded with two top microphones, one bottom microphone, one side microphone, and mono room, room, and far-room ambience channels. Two stereo reverb channels have also been added, providing creative and rich mixing options. Ranging from maple, cherry, elm, and walnut, these wooden snares offer expressive, warm sounds that sit beautifully in the mix.

Treate the natural recording and room sound to your liking. Or, use the mix-ready, processed versions to accentuate the snare's transient attack and cut through dense guitar walls. Add the essential energy of a vibrant snare roll. Combine with drums from other BFD libraries to create the ultimate kit.
