Bosphorus cymbals are meticulously hand-hammered by the skilled hands and ears of our artisans. Their thin cymbals produce excellent response and a crisp sound, making them highly popular among drummers who value nuanced expression in jazz, funk, and other genres.

The performance featured Stanton Moore, drummer for the New Orleans funk-jazz-rock band Galactic. The cymbals used were his personal signature models.

The album was recorded and produced by John Emrich, who has been praised for his delicate sound and exquisite ambience in ""BFD Jazz & Funk,"" ""BFD Percussion,"" and Modern Drummer's ""Snare Drum Selects."" For this album, he uses microphones from Neveton and Violet Design, as well as preamps from API and Metric Halo, to achieve the ultimate sound quality.

Cymbals hold the key to the groove and atmosphere of drums. Adding this title to BFD2 will instantly expand the range of drum expression.
