Natalus Dynamic Stereo Console Equalizer (Natalus DSCEQ) is more than just a gorgeous-sounding passive EQ. Its unique Peak Level control fattens audio while preserving dynamics. This is achieved by applying magnetically controlled dynamics processing to the signal, similar to the gentle compression and saturation typical of a well-tuned tape machine.

・The smoothest transient ever
Natalus DSCEQ is designed as an EQ, but one of the features that many users love is its extremely simple dynamics section, which can be controlled with just one knob. When you raise the Peak Level control, the magnetic transformer reduces transient peaks for a much smoother, cleaner analog sound than traditional compressors and limiters. Ideal for suppressing the harsh high frequencies of acoustic guitars, synths, and percussion. You can also use Natalus DSCEQ on kicks and snares to get a tape-like punch.

The beauty of passive EQs like Natalus DSCEQ is that they allow you to significantly reshape your sound without feeling overly processed or EQed. It's okay to turn the knob more than necessary.
